• Minimum five to ten years of experience estimating fabricated metal components.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication manufacturing processes, plating types, painting, powder coating, and welding techniques required.
• Knowledge of stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal alloys, as well as , an understanding of material pricing.
• Proficient understanding and ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ability to read, breakdown to piece parts and quote from assembly prints.
• Knowledge of estimation software and experience with ERP systems and a strong aptitude for math and problem solving skills.
