The Tooling Group Leader reports to the R&D Manager and is responsible for overseeing tooling staff and activities related to tooling (i.e. metallurgical lab preparation area, die maintenance/replacement, forging press tooling).

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other suitable engineering field required.
  • 3-5 years of directly related experience within the forging industry is strongly desired for this position.
  • In-depth knowledge of forging processes and tooling design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot tooling issues.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and other relevant tools.
  • Understand quality as applied to tooling.
  • Background in trigonometry and plane geometry.
